Rocky Point Update

I have not had much time to stitch due to the preparations we have had to make for the big shift to a new home. I have been able to start the Rocky Point cliff  side, on our last trip to Brisbane when we had to pick up my car from there. We had to take a bus trip to Brisbane and at one stage we were stranded on the side of the road as one of the other buses had engine problems. I enjoyed every minute I had time to stitch. It felt like a mini-holiday.

What a wet day here. Sadly most of the exciting Australia day 2013 activities have had to be cancelled due to  ex-cyclone Oswald passing by. This is what it looks like.

It is slow moving and has dumped in excess of  700mm in less than 2 days further North from here. Water levels on high tide this morning is likely to exceed the highest tide of the year.

We are shifting house, but have decided to only take boxes by car. The new house is only 5km from here. So it makes it rather easy. We watch the weather website and when there is a break in the rain, we do a trip. We did four trips yesterday. Heavy rain is expected today, so we will just continue packing.
